From the 16th of September, Mexico’s Independence Day, DB Breweries will be offering its premium imported Mexican lager, Sol, in a 12-pack.
Nigel Chenery, Sol brand manager, says the introduction of the new 12-pack is a result of the overwhelming consumer response to the taste profile of Mexican styled beers.
“We’re extremely confident Sol will continue to increase in popularity, as New Zealanders continue to broaden their drinking repertoires, with particular interest in non European beers,” says Mr Chenery.
“The popularity of South American imported beers continues to increase, with recent figures showing over 100 percent growth during the last 12 months,” says Mr Chenery. (Source: Excise data to March 2005.)
